Elisabeth Badinter is a French author, feminist, historian, and professor of Philosophy at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris. According to Challenges, she is also one of the wealthiest French citizens with a fortune of around 750 million Euros in 2011. She inherited her stake in her father Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet's advertising company Publicis Groupe in 1996, after his demise. The extensive business is the world's third-largest advertising company. It earned 5.6 billion euro ($7.6billion) in revenue in 2010.She embrace the role of chairman of Publicis' supervisory board. Badinter's 2010 book, The Conflict, became controversial by arguing that political and societal pressures push mothers away from the workforce. Around $1.1 billion is their net worth. She holds 10.47 percent stake in Publicis Groupe SA.
