Honda City: Honda’s idea to bring in the diesel variant cars to India has finally paid off. The companies most sold sedan-the Honda city, managed to record 9,000 pre-bookings even before it launch in January 2014 with 75Pct of the customers choosing the diesel variant.
The Honda City is one of the most popular cars in India for a long time now. The revised 4th generation Honda City retains the overall design but has got changes to both the exterior as well as the interiors with sporty and aggressive design.It is also packed with a host of new features. The new Honda City is being offered with two sets of engines and gearbox options. The diesel engine is the 1.5-litre i-DTEC that churns out 98bhp and 200Nm of torque, while the petrol is the retuned version of the 1.5-litre i-VTEC unit that powers out 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. The car gets an ARAI tested mileage of 26 kmpl.
