Topsy is a social search engine that is a certified partner of twitter and maintains a comprehensive index of tweets that are numbered in hundreds of billions. Topsy makes products for search, analytics and draws insights from conversations and trends on the public social websites including Twitter and Google+. On 2 December 2013, it was said that Apple, Inc. had purchased this company and was one of the 10 companies that Apple had bought in 2013.
