Finally, if you love space, this is something you never imagined in your wild dreams. Planetary Resources is planning to launch their first spacecraft to mine the precious metals and minerals from asteroids which are near to earth. There is a long list of interested investors, from Google co-founders to James Cameron.

This is what the company says, “we are promising under $10 million for the robots and under $100 million for each mission, split between investors.” But considering the earlier space track of Silicon Valley, many people pretty much doubt the investors getting money back.
