Bangalore-based Vishesh Jayawanth has come up with a novel startup to help students get the books at cheapest of the price. RentMyText.in is India's first online book renting store for engineering students.

All you need to do is buy the books at MRP price and RentMyText will deliver the books to your door steps. Study the books for the whole semester then return it back. Upon returning the books you get 60 to 70 percent of MRP you paid previously. The startup also offers green advantage—saving on paper.

AbhiBus.com helps book bus tickets, the specialty— it includes the entire bandwidth of the industry, ranging from government and private operators to individual travellers.

Sudhakar Chirra, the founder, did not sell a single ticket for the first four months. The first breakthrough came in January 2008, when several bus operators agreed to integrate their bookings with its software.
