HealthKart has given a new dimension to the Indian medical field by incorporating the power of e-commerce into the vertical. IIT Delhi graduated duos Sameer Maheshwari and Prashant Tandon returned to India from U.S. with the long cherished dream of establishing their own startup. After the initial resistance the firm took off the ground and is now betting big with investment of over $22.5 million from the big names in Venture Capitalist market.

Knowlarity (Ambarish Gupta and Pallav Pandey: Cofounders)

Ambarish Gupta had a hard time convincing his IIT pal Pallav Pandey, about starting up a cloud telephony firm. The duos were working with Microsoft in U.S. when they left to India to establish their enterprise. The Delhi based startup targets to generating revenue of 60 crore in the year ahead. Knowlarity founders say that there feel a sense of great achievement and accomplishment in returning to India and starting a successful venture.
