Microsoft should seriously consider the fate of Google’s Nexus range of Smartphones. Google had partnered with handset makers to deliver an exclusive device which runs on the latest version of its own Android. The device initially offered best features, but eventually failed to catch up with the better alternatives offered in the market. At the end, Google's experiment in self-branding an Android Smartphone turned out to be a failure. Microsoft won’t be having as many rivals as Nexus had, since the Windows Phone is not yet widely accepted in the market like Android. But still, it’s a reason to worry.
