Dr. Syed Saba Taj

Dr. Syed Saba Taj is the Democratic Party nominee for Michigan's 11th congressional district. He served as the Chief of Medicine at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn and to concentrate more on his campaign he left the post in March, 2012.

Taj serves on the Canton, Michigan, Board of Trustees. He was elected as the only Democrat on the Canton Board of Trustees in 2008.

Jack Uppal

Jack Uppal is the Democratic Party candidate from California's fourth Congressional District. He raised an amount of USD 51,000, reports OpenSecrets.com.

According to Uppal, "We feel very confident and proud of our campaign. We ran a positive campaign contrasting the substantial differences between my positions and those of my opponent. We were able to get our message out across all of our 10-county long district through all forms of media."
