MadRat Games is an eco friendly toy kit that helps kids to make simple toys using some household things. They also commenced Aksharit’, which is a Hindi board game and has been adopted in many schools across Indian states. These games are not just fun filled but they also educate kids about the basic scientific concepts. It was found by 3 IIT students Rajat Dhariwal, his wife Madumita Halder and brother Manuj Dhariwal who were interested in teaching.

This company has won several international awards like Manthan International Award and INK (TED India) Fellow 2011. Their achievements were recognized by “The WEEK” magazine on Republic Day edition, along with “Education World” and others.

There are 25 employees in this company and it raised $500,000 fund from Blume Ventures and First Light Ventures.
