# Padmasree Warrior: Indian born Padmasree Warrior started her career by joining Motorola in 1984 and went on to become its Chief Technical Officer. She joined CISCO in 2007 as its CTO.  There, she oversees strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, integration of new business models, development of new technologies and nurturing talent. Padmasree is well appreciated for her creative and visionary leadership, and helped CISCO succeed. She has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from IIT Delhi and Master of Science in chemical engineering from Cornell University.

# Kiran Mazumdar Shaw: Chairperson and Managing Director of Biocon and the Chairperson of Indian institute of Management-Bangalore, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw is one of the world’s most powerful women. She engages in philanthropic activities through the Biocon Foundation. Shaw is termed as first generation entrepreneur with more than 36 years of experience in biotechnology and industry enzymes. She was awarded the Padmabhushan, one of India’s highest civilian awards for her pioneering efforts. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw is a successful technocrat of global standing and is well respected in the business world. She has been referred as “India’s Biotech Queen” by the Economist and “India’s Mother of Invention” by New York Times.
