Anand John
Anand john is one of the world’s top fashion designers who rose to fame in the fashion industry before he was convicted of sexual crimes and sentenced to jail.
This 39 year old guy hailing from Kerala was known for his style of designing which had an Indian favour added to it and moreover he even got the opportunity to be the designer for some of the prominent celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Paris Hilton, Rosario Dawson, Laurence Fishburne, Gina Torres and Janet Jackson.
He appeared on ‘America's Next Top Model’ and ‘Newsweek’ recognized him as a person to watch. Shashi Tripathi, the Consul General of India once introduced Anand as one of the outstanding cultural ambassadors of India, honouring him at a press conference. According to New York magazine he is the "Master of simple evening shapes created from pricey embroided fabrics”.
Anand developed his inborn designing talents from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and Parsons the News School for Design.
