15 yr Old Indian American Presents his Project before Obama

Along with Srinivasan, many other students participated in the White House Science Fair which was conducted on Feb.7.The students were selected on the basis of several science fair competitions which were held in various parts of U.S, the previous year.

“The young people I met today, the young people behind me, you guys inspire me,” said President Barack Obama at the opening of the fair. 

 “Its young people like you that make me so confident that America’s best days are still to come,” said the president. He also declared a new $22 million public/private partnership, which is intended to coach around 100,000 new math and science teachers, reports India West.

Another Indian American, Shree Bose who is the grand prize winner of previous year’s Google Science fair was also present at the function, who was invited for a meeting with Obama.
