#2 Darren Austin, for locating jobs that needed doing at Glympse

Darren Austin is currently leading product management efforts at Glympse, previously he lead product teams for big consumer brands including Amazon.com, Motorola, AOL and Expedia and have also joined start-ups.

He is quite a different and energetic guy at Glympse , as one of his colleague says Austin's tagline is, "Please tell me how I can unblock you."

And he goes a bit further literally, like doing colleagues' shopping for them, and involves actively in many other process of the company, be it cleaning or a man behind the team, which is about to release a major new version of its app in October.

#1 BJ Black, for making the cloud run smoothly at Barracuda Networks

BJ Black is Linux Platform Software Engineer at Barracuda Networks; he works on behind-the-scenes infrastructure tools, like an automated ordering system that speeds new equipment to data centers.

If the LinkedIn statement of one of his colleague Michael Kjellman is considered, "I'll make this brief: When I get stuck on something, I go to BJ and as does the entire company."

The statement may evoke this sense about BJ being a vibrant and indispensible part of the company, but he was no whiz kid, as he admits himself, he struggled in academia. It ended up taking him 16 years of on-and-off education, at three different schools, to get his bachelor's.

But it did not prevent him getting computer-science department’s "Outstanding Graduating Senior of the Year," at San Jose State University, where he earned his degree in 2008.
