The company is increasingly getting competition from rivals like Apple which is eating into company’s market share, be it with PC versus Mac or Surface versus iPad. The company’s global PC market is under severe threat by mobile devices like Smartphones and tablets. Windows 8 was not a blockbuster. The company’s latest internet explorer was ridiculed for its poor performance.
