10 Super Rich Candidates Contesting 16th Lok Sabha Election



V Balakrishnan: Former Infosys Board Member and Aam Aadmi Party candidate for Bangalore Central Lok Sabha seat, V Balakrishnan has declared his and his family's assets at about 190 crore. He is fielded against sitting MP P C Mohan of the BJP and Youth Congress wing Chief Rizwan Arshad. In the affidavit filed along with his nomination, he has declared assets of more than 154 crore, of which about Rs 103 crore is from his equity shares in Infosys and about 5.26 crore in American Depository Receipts of Infosys Limited. His wife Chithra Balakrishnan owns assets worth around 19.34 crore.

Kirron Kher: With total declared assets worth 45.87 crore, BJP candidate Kirron Kher is richest among the candidates contesting from the Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency.

She owns movable assets worth 7.69 crore and immovable assets worth 23.88 crore. The actor has a 25 percent share worth 5.34 crore in a commercial building in Sector-17. Kirron also owns a house worth 7.84 crore in Chandigarh and one apartment worth 3 crore in Juhu, Mumbai. Kirron's husband Anupam Kher has cash worth 7.71 lakh and owns moveable and immovable assets worth 4.65 crore and 9.65 crore, respectively.
