5. Dharma Productions

Karan Johar, one of the popular names in the Indian Cinema is the head of this production house at present. Dharma Productions was founded by Yash Johar in 1976.

This production house is well known for its exotic locations, star cast and promotional events. Starting from Dev Anand’s Guide, Jewel Thief, Prem PUjari, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, this banner has other national award winning names like Agneepath, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and many others.

Other names in this banner are: Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Student of the Year, etc.

6. Mukta Arts

One of the legendary directors from the Indian Film Industry, Shubhash Ghai established this production house in 1978. Ram Lakhan, Hero, Saudagar, etc. are some of the everlasting names produced by Mukta Arts.  Mukta Arts has also established themselves as one of the leading equipment providers in the Indian Film Industry.

Its last production was ‘Yuvvraaj’ starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor and others.  Saudagar, from this banner made India to sing ‘ILU…ILU…’. Actors like Jackie Shroff was introduced by Mukta Arts.
