Weixin or the Wechat in India supports mobile text and voice messaging communication service. The app is available for Android, iOS, Blackberry, and Symbian platforms. The app was developed by a Chinese company, Tencent. The app supports all global languages together with the main Asian languages. WeChat is supported on Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, and 4G data networks. Recently, the service has created controversy following government’s decision to ban it in India.

Google+, the social network from Google that was launched in July 2011 may not be a big hit. However when it comes to the mobile platform, the app stands 4^th  worldwide with 359 million active users, even when similar apps of Facebook and Twitter are existing.  The smart design and comprehensible interface of the app is its strength at all time. Google+ Mobile app provides various features to create friend circle, communities, share photos and hangouts which is basically a group video call.
