7. Jiffy Lube

Jiffy Lube is a company headquartered in Houston, Texas and having chains of over 2,000 businesses in North America providing oil changes and automotive services. Founded by Edwin H. Washburn in 1971, Jiffy Lube is a subsidiary of Shell Oil Company. The first store was established on 36th Street in Ogden, Utah and later Washburn franchised a number of stores within Utah. Its service centers are completely owned by franchises and operated under 252 entity groups.

The founder of KFC was Harland Sanders who began selling fried chicken from his roadside restaurant in Kentucky during Great Depression.
