7. Robert McDonald
Procter & Gamble (P&G)

Procter & Gamble’s sales grew by an average of four percent and Robert McDonald was the person behind this success of Procter & Gamble.

Robert joined P&G in 1980 and served as a brand manager for Tide till 1986. During his initial years in P&G, he has been moved to several locations to lead several branches of P&G across the globe. Finally, by the mid of 2009 (July), he became the President and the CEO of P&G.

This Indian origin CEO of Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC completed his schooling in New Delhi. After schools, he completed his BE from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani (Chemical Engineering). He has an MBA from XLRI-Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur.

After joining Reckitt Benckiser Group, he has worked in many different roles; Regional Sales Manager, General Manager, Regional Marketing Director, Global Category Director, Senior Vice President, Regional Director and Executive Vice President.

After carrying out so many roles efficiently, he became the CEO of Reckitt Benckiser Group on Sptember 1, 2011.
