South Korea
South Korea has 25,609,290 number of available military manpower. With relatively less aircrafts of 1,568 it is on the seventh place. The total number of naval ships forming its naval unit is 170. It has a defense budget of $26,550,000,000 is which is slightly higher than Turkey. It has high oil consumption of 2,185,000 bbl per day and zero number of verified oil reserves. The South Korean armed forces were largely used for advocating law and order prior to the outburst of the Korean War. During the North Korean and Chinese attack it took a severe hit and on its inception it almost completely depended on America for weapons, ammunitions and technological support.

France
France is on the eight spot. It has 28,802,096 personnel in the military manpower, with 1,757 aircrafts and 289 naval units, all of which is higher than South Korea. The oil reserves are 1,875,000 bbl per day whereas South Korea has zero, even than it comes after South Korea due to the other factors which are considered in rating these countries as world power, like it has less merchant marine strength. It does spend $44,788,000,000 on its defense system. The principle of France’s military system is based on the notions of national independence, military self sufficiency and nuclear prevention. Further, as a member of NATO France has taken active participation in getting its allies to comply NATO.
