Ellison has been ranked as the sixth richest person in the world in Forbes 2006 list. In 2010 Forbes Billionaires List he stood sixth and Wall Street Journal reported that he was the best paid executive. In 2011 he was the fifth richest according to the Forbes Billionaires list.
