Benjamin Siegel

Lived: February 28, 1906 – June 20, 1947

Popularly known as Bugsy, Siegel was a notorious mobster and also a visionary. It is said that he single handedly built the Las Vegas valley, and that’s a stretch. He was the first person to foresee the future of the town, which had a lush oasis of pleasure where gambling was one of the main attractions.
