Hong Kong is one of the leading international financial centers and has a major capitalist service economy characterized by low taxation and free trade.  The currency - Hong Kong dollar is the eighth most traded currency in the world.

Singapore, Singapore:
Singapore ranks sixth on the list of global cities that matter to the rich. It takes the eighth place in terms of economic activity, 23 in terms of political power, 22 for quality of life and 3 for knowledge and influence. According to the report Singapore along with Hong Kong and Shanghai offers a wide range of opportunities which will be instrumental to the HNWIs.

Singapore is the world's fourth leading financial centre and in terms of purchasing power parity it has the third highest per capita income in the world.
