São Paulo takes the seventh position on the list. It maintains strong international influence and is considered an Alpha World City. It is the tenth richest city in the world. It has one of the biggest financial centers in the world. The city has significant cultural, economic and political influence both nationally and internationally and hence, is much preferred by HNWIs.

Dubai:

Dubai takes the eighth position on the list. Despite its struggles in recent years, it was voted the 13th most important city in the world, said the report. Dubai has become known as a global city and a business hub. Though Dubai's economy was built on the oil industry, the emirate's model of business drives its economy, with the outcome that its main revenues are now from tourism, real estate, and financial services, similar to that of Western countries.  Dubai has also been a place of attraction for expatriates.
