3. Leonard Dennis Kozlowski

Kozlowski was convicted in the year 2005 on the charges of receiving unauthorized bonuses worth $81 million, buying art worth $14.725 million and giving $20 million worth of investment banking fee to Frank Walsh, a Former Director at Tyco. by Judge Michael Obus, of the Manhattan Supreme Courtto, had convicted Kozlowski on September 19, 2005. Kozlowski had made Tyco a huge success by engaging in a number of mergers and acquisitions, even defeating the predictions of Wall Street. Kozlowski has been tried in court two times. The first one was ruled out as a mistrial as one of the jurors, Ruth Jordan, had sided with Kozlowski, as she was threatened by the public. In his second trial, Kozlowski said that his compensation was "almost embarrassingly big" and "confusing" but he had not committed any crime. He is presently serving time at the Mid-State Correctional Facility in Marcy, New York, U.S. for 8.33 to 25 years. He can only be released on January 17, 2014, when he gains eligibility for parole. His parole hearing date is scheduled to be in April 2012.
