This scam has been circulating through Facebook with variations like “know your total profile views.” This scam plays to the user's curiosity, ego and desire for information about who is checking out their Facebook page. But once they click on the link, which requests to allow application, they are giving their full profile information to a person who developed this fraud app. Not only they don’t get any information about people who viewed their profile, they will also be leaded to a fraudulent survey, which creates commissions for the spammer.

#8 Get A Gift Card!

Everybody feels good if they get a free gift card, that too with just a click and a comment. The only thing they never knew is that the gift card is never going to arrive. The scam is a phishing attempt to collect user’s information and even sign them up for some expensive services. The company names on the gift card keep on changing, but never will be the scam.
