#9 Toyota Innova

The Toyota Innova is a compact MPV manufactured by Toyota and it is the best selling MUV in India right now. The car has sold 58266 units between January and November 2013. The MUV find a close competition from its counterpart Maruti Ertiga whose figures are rapidly catching up.

The Innova is petrol model has 2.0 L or 2.7 L or a 2.5 L common rail diesel engine and the diesel variants use turbocharged 2KD-FTV engine. Both gasoline and diesel versions are available in either manual or automatic transmission.

#8 Hyundai i20

The Hyundai i20 is a supermini car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai since 2008. It is a premium hatchback which has got the Indian acceptance with 68297 units sold between January and November 2013.

Hyundai i20 is powered by an 1.2L Kappa engine with 80 PS power. It also comes with a 1.4L gamma gasoline which has 100 PS, but is mated only to a four-speed automatic transmission. The i20 CRDi diesel has 90 PS and comes with a six-speed manual transmission.
