Rupert Murdoch: He’s not new to controversies, but the phone hacking scandal by News International was shocking. It was found that the employees of the News of the World were involved in hacking the phones of the British royal family, celebrities, politicians, the victims of 7/7 London bombings and the  families of deceased British soldiers.The purpose was to stay ahead in the publishing world and it’s suspected that Murdoch was in the loop. The revelations created a public outrage and an enquiry was ordered by the British Prime Minister. The advertisers refused to patronize the newspaper resulting in the closer of the News of The World.

Nusli Wadia: Nusli Wadia started his career with a huge controversy-a fight with his father. When his father Neville Wadia decided to sell Bombay dyeing, Nusli Wadia took his mother, his sisters and the labor union to his side and gave his battle a tough fight. This former CEO of Bombay Dyeing got into a bitter fight with Dhirubhai Ambani in the 1980’s. The public spat followed that with the then Chairman of Britannia Industries Rajan Pillai. Then came the allegations of his associations with Bollywood starlets, his carrying a fake passport and loyalty towards Pakistan. In 1987, he was arrested by the CBI in a London hotel for checking in as an Indian citizen while he held a British passport.
