Most Expensive Mansions In Mumbai Owned by Business Magnates

Villa Nirmala

Villa Nirmala which is located in the Carmichael Road in south Mumbai was acquired by Peninsula Land and developer Khemchand Kothari for a huge sum of 300 crore in 2010. The mansion is over 60 years old and has 15,000 sq ft carpet area. Spread over  half-an-acre land area Villa Nirmala has a beautiful garden in the backyard. The present owners may demolish the two storied bungalow for building high rises.

Glamis Villa  

The prestigious property once owned by Hari Singh, the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir is bought by M P.Aggarwal, chairman of Sajjan India. The billionaire paid a whopping rs180 crore to acquire the property on Bhulabhai Desai Road in south Mumbai as per Times of India. The two storied bungalow measures a total of 11,000 sq ft with three garages. The Aggarwal family still lives in the Carmichael Road residence and is thought to have no plans of demolishing the new acquisition.

Gulita  

Gulita, one of the finest mansions in the Mumbai suburbs is now added to the asset of Piramal Realty headed by Ajay Piramal. The property was bought by the tycoon from Hindustan Unilever for rs452.5 crore. Expanding over one acre Gulita gives away a great view occupying the sea front. The mansion which used to be a private residence of senior executives of Unilever is thought to be brought down to the ground to erect high-end luxury apartments by Piramal Realty.
