Due diligence

Conducting due diligence before the final agreement is the most important thing when you buy a house either for accommodation purpose or for rental purpose. You need to check whether the property holds all the requisite permissions or not. On this note, Om Ahuja, CEO, residential services, Jones Lang LaSalle India stated that "To avoid problems, it is best to buy a second home from a reputed developer who is known for building high quality projects," reports Economic Times.

Before buying a property, you need to consider a couple of things. For instance, if you buying a land make sure that the land is not under agricultural land and if the property is in near proximity to wildlife reserve, you need to get clearances from the environmental department.

To avoid future trouble, it will be better if you can visit the area more than one time to check the surroundings and whether the area will suit your interest and fulfill your requirements.
