Developing a country
To turn India into developed country an individual should contribute a part of their work hour in developing future of the coming India,by future I mean the developing under privileged kids who did not get enough opportunity to grow their knowledge and skills. Its the responsibility of every professional to give some of their time in shaping and molding the future of India,so that India becomes a developed nation.
Essential skills
To be successful in QA, an individual should process a die hard will to find the error and issues in any project even if it is said 100% error free. To be successful that individual should be more attentive and logical. Individual should always act and think as a user's perspective.
Motivating team members
My way of motivating my team mates it a type of fun, when they loose their hopes we go out for a break and enjoy some work free hours and try out some laughter and food therapy... :P ... Well this worked for me and my teams mates most of the time, when this don't work.. we have a group discussion on the problem and try to sort out problem with the help of all others, we also try lighten the moods by playing short jokes... :)
Current Job description
Currently I am the Lead of QA team in my Organization,my basic responsibility is to make sure the deliverable is of best quality and maximum error free. Its my core responsibility to set the exit criteria for any deliverable.
My advice to upcoming professionals
Always have a leaning attitude. Never give up,there is always an issue, keep this in mind. Feel free and speak out whatever you feel is not right. You are the user not developer... ;)
Importance of brand image
Brand image really do matter to a lot,but from my perspective quality matters the most. If you have no quality but big brand name... its not gonna help.... :)
My family background
I was born in Shillong, a nice hill station at Meghalaya. My dad owns a newspaper and book stall there. My mother is a physiotherapist. From very small age I am residing at Kolkata with my mom and grandmom. Since my dad has a business in Shillong,so he is not able to stay with us but he spend every winter with us every year.
Essential qualification required
Individual should be very attentive to details and usability.
Education system in India
In India education system is very poor. A kid should be made to learn the things they are good at from the very small age,but here every one needs to learn everything and at the end nothing works which leads to failure more than success. Education system needs to be changed to make kids and India's future brighter.
