Changes In The Professional Environment:

The professional environment has definitely changed a lot. During the time I joined, I was new and was a fresher to the corporate world knowing nothing. Now, with the experience, its definitely a changed environment. I have been able to know the professional know how of the team management and co-ordinating with peers and motivating and mentoring if needed.

Job Profile:

I am an Oracle developer. I handle a team of 4-5 people. I am involved in requirement gathering,design,development and testing phases of the project.

The Journey So Far:

It was fun at times and it was difficult sometimes. Overall it was a roller-coaster ride. There were lots of ups and downs. I have learnt a lot and experienced a lot. Gained an insight into the technical know how of the project life cycle. Learnt communicating with different types of people.

Degrees That Matter:

I am Oracle Certified Associate. I would like to do Oracle Certified Program certification.

Working Life Management:

I concentrate completely on work during office hours and try to avoid the office topics after office hours. I belive in the concept : Leave office work in office and go to home with a fresh mind. So with this, I would not have to worry about the problems or tensions of office at home and have a nice time at home.

I have recieved couple of awards in Techmahindra which happens to be my previous company. Also, I have recieved customer appreciation while I was onsite through Techmahindra working for BT.

Keep your basics clean and neat. Have a track of the upto date changes in the field. Also, conentrate on improving myself on a regular basis.
