Bangalore: Manoj Night Shyamalan, one of the most successful Indian American directors is set for a comeback with his new project, ‘After Earth’. This outstanding director who won the hearts of millions of movie lovers with brilliant movies like ‘the Sixth Sense’ has been trying hard to recapture his film career, to get out of the image of flops like ‘’The Last Airbender’’. After Earth, a science fiction action film will be released on 30th of this month.

Will Smith and Jaden Smith play the leading roles in the movie and ‘After Earth’ is all about the exploration of a planet (that was evacuated by humans 1,000 years earlier) by a father and son.

This is the first time Shyamalan is not directing his own script; the first script draft was framed by Gary Whitta and later on Stephen Gaghan did some polishing work.

Shyamalan is known for directing movies with contemporary mystic plots and ending it with an ironic wound, leaving the viewers to spin around by the end of the movie. Apart from being a well-renowned and talented director and screen writer, Shyamalan has proved his acting skills with his performance in his own movies such as Praying with Anger, Lady in the Water, Unbreakable and Signs.
