Analjit Singh Honoured with US-India Business Council Leadership Award

Bangalore: Analjit Singh, an Indian American entrepreneur was honoured with the US-India Business Council Leadership Award, at USIBC’s 38th Anniversary Leadership Summit, which was held recently in Washington DC.

Singh is the founder and Chairman of Max India Limited, a multi-business corporate and his contributions to the growth of U.S.-India made him eligible for the recognition.

Ajay Banga, USIBC Chiarman, who is also the President and CEO of American transnational, MasterCard presented the award.

P. Chidambaram, Finance Minister and Anand Sharma, Minister of Commerce and Industries were also present at the summit.

In the year 2011, Singh was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the President of India for his contributions in the field of business. The next year, in 2012, he was honoured with the Golden Peacock award for his services to the society.

Singh holds a degree in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce and he has also attended Boston University School of Management.
