Rakesh Khurana, Harvard College:

Recently appointed as the dean of Harvard College, Rakesh Khurana is Marvin Bower professor of leadership development in Organizational Behavior at Harvard Business School, Sociology professor in faculty of arts and science and Master of Cabot House.

Khurana earned his bachelors’ degree in 1990 from Cornell University. He also earned his Master of Arts in Sociology and PhD in Organizational Behavior from Harvard’s University.

He is at the 41st position in the Thinkers50 global ranking of management Gurus since 2011. He is the author and editor of many books.

Sunil Kumar, University of Chicago:

The Fred H. Merrill Professor of Operations, Information and Technology, Sunil Kumar was an expert in operations research at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and later was appointed as the dean of the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business.

At Stanford, he also served as senior associate dean for academic affairs, overseeing the school’s M.B.A. program and leading faculty groups in marketing and organizational behavior and was awarded as Finmeccanica Faculty Scholarship.

He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Mangalore University in Surathkal, a Master of Engineering degree in computer science and automation from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
