Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO and chairman of Facebook, dropped out of Harvard in his sophomore year to focus on running Facebook.  In 2007, at the age of 23, Zuckerberg became a billionaire due to Facebook's success.

Facebook went public in 2012 and is now worth over $200 billion. It had 1.32 billion monthly active users as of June 2014, and had over $7.8 billion in revenue last year. In the year 2010, a film was produced over Zuckerberg’s success story under the title “The Social Network.”

Michael Dell is the founder and CEO of Dell, one of the world’s leading seller of personal computers. Michael Dell was a student at the University of Texas at Austin but he decided to drop out to pursue his career as an entrepreneur.

 In 1984, he founded Dell Computer and turned it into a multi-billion dollar empire over the next 30 years. He is recognized as one of the youngest CEOs of a company ever to make the Fortune 500 list in 1992.

Dell's 1999 book, “Direct from Dell: Strategies That Revolutionized an Industry” is an account of his early life, his company's founding, growth and missteps, as well as lessons learned.
