How Many People Use these Top Social Networks?


It is reported that Instagram is used in the U.S by the teens as a status holder. Instagram is used by 83 percent of teens from wealthy households and they describe it as ‘Most Important’ more than Facebook and Twitter.

LinkedIn: People between the ages of 30 and 49, who are in the peak of their career, use this site.

It has replaced Twitter as the favorite among workers. This social site is also the favorite site for people who are well educated. Unlike Facebook that is available or better yet used by anyone from any stream.

Twitter: This site was once hailed for being a gender balanced site but is now leaning towards more of male users. Pew found that 22 percent of men and only 15 percent of women use Twitter, as reported by Business Insider.

YouTube: The reports revealed that YouTube reaches out to adults between the ages of 18 and 34. It is the best place to watch any content or stream videos more than Facebook and ESPN. Nielsen reports showed that almost half of the people between this age group watch videos or visit this page. It is the most gender balanced network among all the social networking sites.

Snapchat: The youngest and most recent social networking site. This site is said to be used mainly by teens again and more than half of the users are between the ages of 18 and 24. This is more than the number of teen users on Instagram.
