Finally the Government has woken up to the calls and decided to engaging via social media and as a first step, in August, issued guidelines for use of social media to its various departments.

While we are yet to see a complete engagement of the government through social networks, there are a few politicians as well as some government bodies, who have already been enjoying these privileges from a long time back, to effectively reach their targets.
