Bangalore: The CEOs of leading tech companies emit an aura that personifies power, money and ability to bring a change to the world. But they were not handed over the power to handle these multibillion dollar tech companies’ directly out of college, but they had their own share of odd jobs.

Steve Ballmer joined Microsoft in 1980 and is the CEO of the company since 2000. When Ballmer was fresh out Harvard in 1997, he spent two years as an assistant product manager at P&G, managing the Coldsnap Freezer Dessert Maker, a product used to make ice cream.  After that, Ballmer was an assistant product manager for Duncan Hines' Moist & Easy cakes and brownies.
