Google And Tourism Ministry To Reward Your 'Incredible India' Pictures

Bangalore: Google and Tourism Ministry of India have collaboratively launched a photography contest where one can click pictures that depict the life, culture and places in India and upload it on Google + social network. People within and outside the country can take part in the contest designed to reveal the incredible side of India.

According to the Times of India,  the contest is scheduled to begin on September 27, and may run for couple of weeks and the winners will be declared at the Delhi Photo Festival.

The reward for the best click will not be in cash, but will be a week-long trip to any location of their choice within India. The expenses will completely met by the Tourism Ministry.

Those aspiring to participate in the contest can upload their snaps on their respective pages at Google + and can tag their posts with #IncredibleIndia hashtag.  The tag will get the snaps appear on the contest page created by Google. The official page for the contest is already up and accessible.

The top 10 images will be selected by the Tourism Ministry, based on the polls that they receive on the social network. The best 3 will be filtered out and declared winners. Google will have no role in deciding the medalists.
