Bangalore: “I hate my job” is more or less the common dialogue we hear in and out of the workplaces. LinkedIn, the professional network has finally decided to dig deep into the roots of this feeling and came up with some interesting findings.

Don’t be surprised to hear the very first reason why employs hate their own jobs- Envy! The amazing experience one’s friends are having at another company makes them envious. Adding to that, the employee benefits and perks at other companies also lead them to dream about working elsewhere.

The second reason is workers feeling that they are not being valued at their workplace. Another reason is the feeling of “no room for advancement,” which makes the people feel they are stuck in their company. Being paid less than what a person actually deserves also leads to hating the job. The policies or rules in a company also play a role as they frustrate by not allowing employees to make their own decision.

Poor management is also one of the main reasons for even the well-paid employees to hate their job. Above all, according to the research there is a huge difference between “living to work and working to live.”
