7200 Units for OnePlus 3 Entered India and MODs

BENGALURU: Recently, a new phone has again stirred up an enthusiasm in gadget lovers’ minds—OnePlus 3. It recently hit the Indian market and reached an unprecedented level on the anticipation of the product. Along with the OnePlus 3 VR headset and the launch app, Oneplus 3 will ultimately bring the virtual reality world more close for the gadget lovers.

With such hype created among the India gadgets fans, the mobile’s price cost around 27,999 in India at Amazon’s online site. But, according to the latest data from GSM Arena there were around 7200 units of Oneplus 3 entered India through Air Cargo division (Chennai) and price of each unit on the details of the shipment was to be Rs 22,858, according to Tech2 website report. The actual price calculation was sighted by a Twitter user while going through Zauba. However the price looks reasonable after the estimated amount of 25,000 including all the extra charges and taxes for the speculated phone that comes with 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM.

Furthermore digging into the shipping details on Zauba website, the twitter user tweeted another interesting bit and created curiosity that had not been part of any speculation or leak— the “MOD”. The “MOD” without any IMEI number and the price quoted was Rs 5930 from the OnePlus Company shipped to Air Cargo (Delhi).

The MOD’s final retail price for this will be around Rs 6200 or Rs 6500. However, when it was searched on net, the prices get varied more. The type of MOD will be very much like a Moto Mod and may be a modular accessory to OnePlus 3. But the lack of details and leakages across the Internet make the possibility slightly vague. However, for the exact pricing, we need to wait for the announcement of next generation of VR headset at such a cost.
