3. Hiding Document on Your Mac

There are plenty of files in our system that we want no one to look at even; simply saying there are some files and folders that need to be hidden.

Press Command+ Option+ D will enable you to hide your document. Your doc gets disappeared. Want an access back to your folder? Just repeat the same procedure.

4. Spruced Screenshot

While taking a screen shot, there are many ways that let you resize or reposition the selected area. Press Command+ Shift+ 4 but don’t release the mouse button or track pad, just hold down the spacebar.

This will help you to lock in the shape and size of the selection area but you can reposition the selected area as per your wish.

5. Spotlight Search as Calculator

Press Command + Spacebar, Apple Spotlight search pops up, and you can make your necessary search for documents, music folders or anything, so far not interested, but the catch is, you can use the search bar for doing basic calculations.

No need to scratch your head, the basic fact is you don’t need to open the calculator, every time for simple addition and multiplications.
