7 Retroactive Pre-Budget Expectations From The Tech Sector


BANGALORE: Expectation is in the air because of budget that is set to be released for this fiscal year. The tech world is in great anticipation of the government’s initiative of “Digital India”, and speculations are all over as to what sort of changes the budget is going to bring them.

IT industry is heavily banking on the reforms from budget that would appease their charge in the market and new startup companies are expecting changes that are to happen, to strike on the brighter side.

So here is a list of expectations as to what the tech sector is to experience, listed out by Sandeep Ladda, Technology leader, PwC India, as reported by Computerworld.

The new government is on a path of redefining the stature of the country by encouraging growth and development. So the companies that are to set up their branches in non-SEZ (Special Economic Zones) areas are expected to receive a dip in tax to expanse the surge in Tier II and III cities.
