4. Image-capturing Walking Stick

Google’s street view is itself a captivating feature. In 2013, Google acquired the patents for an app called as "Walking Stick with IMU (inertial measurement unit)," that is embedded with cameras and location sensors, attached with a switch at the bottom that causes the cameras to snap pictures whenever the stick taps the ground.

The device makes shooting such landscapes easier and specially in those places where it is difficult to operate a camera.

5. Software for Splitting Restaurant Bills

We can get different meals at a restaurant table but not different bills; it becomes hectic to manage your bills then, isn’t it? To answer your worries, Google, in 2013, applied for a patent called "Tracking and Managing Group Expenditures," a software app—most probably for smartphones—that calculates how much is owed to the person and who paid how much.

It automatically transfers the money to that person's online account. Better, install this app beforehand, next time you go to a restaurant with your friends and see how easily sharing becomes caring in your friends.

6. The Heart Hand Gesture

This may be a delightful feeling when someone expresses a gesture by forming heart shape from their hands.  Google isn’t lacking to avail this beautiful gestures and filed an application in 2011 titled "Hand Gestures to Signify what is Important."

It allows Google Glass wearers to make the gesture at an object in their head-mounted video camera's field of view and highlight it, capturing a snapshot of it. The Google Glass wearer could then use the device to post the picture on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.
