You can find the stock messaging app as Google Hangouts on the Nexus phones. Though, the Hangout app is preloaded on every Android smartphone, but you have to download and make it a stock messaging app. In this way the app turn into the combined center for GTalk messages and SMSes.

Normally, a Gmail account does the work for email purpose but for official use, many companies require Microsoft exchange servers and Gmail does not support exchange accounts. Nexus smartphones are preloaded with an app for exchange accounts.

But if you are using other smartphones such as Samsung, HTC, LG or Sony, you can download the stock app from the Play Store to enjoy a Nexus experience on your phone.
