Google Video

Another big name in the enclosure list is Google Video, a video search engine and a free video sharing website (formerly) from Google Inc. Though outshined by YouTube, it continued to exist and it provided good service.

Google Video was launched on January 25, 2005. In the next year the company bought its competitor, YouTube. But later in 2009, it stopped the facility to upload videos on Google’s Web servers.

And now Google has decided to place an axe on Google Video. It has started to migrate the user’s content to YouTube officially.

The company has provided enough time, till August 20 this year, to either migrate or delete or download their contents from Google Video.
