SpotDy: The party campaigns used technology startup tools to monitor constituencies. SpotDy was asked to provide overall mention analytics. It helps to keep an eye on the candidates working and take corrective actions if they are wrong.

Unlike Facebook, SpotDy‘s Algorithm deciphers unstructured, textual data to derive conclusions. CTO Ashwin Thunga, co-founder, said that they predicted the win of AAP as they had a more positive sentiment on the basis of Social Media.

Frankly.me: This is a Noida based startup funded by Matrix partners. All the three main campaigners of the three main leading political parties, Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Ajay Maken used the mobile video application Frankly.me to answer the citizens’ queries by video.

Nikunj Jain, co founder of Frankly.me said that they got 2000 queries directed to about 55 politicians this election via this tool.
