This sneaky start up by Rony Abovitz, has raised more than $540 million of venture funding from Google, Qualcomm, Andreessen Horowitz and Kleiner Perkins.  Started in 2010 as Magic Leap Studios, in 2011 it became a corporation after releasing an augmented reality app at Comic-Con that year. Abovitz says, “Magic Leap is a new way for humans to interact with computers.” Recently Magic Leap started working on a tiny 3D technology that can shine images on your retinas, creating augmented reality that blends the real world with fantasy. 3.Shyp

The tagline explains it all - The easiest way to ship anything. The business is if you want to shift your belongings, Shyp sends a driver to your house or business who picks up all items, then takes them away to be professionally packed and shipped to your destination. At a low cost, they provide a high quality carrier. Officially started at San Fracisco, Shyp just raised $9.2 million in new funding, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
