Deepinder Goyal, the CEO of Zomato has publicized the elimination of on-ground separate theme for the pure veg fleet, which was originally differentiated by the Green Color.

Also Goyal highlighted the vital significance of the rider’s safety & consumer satisfaction in pouring these amendments & addressing the unintentional penalties of the rollout happened earlier.

Goyal denoted, "Vegetarian orders will not be identifiable on the ground... This will ensure that our red uniform delivery partners are not incorrectly associated with non-veg food, and blocked by any RWAs or societies during any special days… our riders' physical safety is of paramount importance to us”.

Replying to the criticism on social media & other platforms, Goyal expounded that the mode of Pure Veg fleet, "doesn't serve or alienate any religious, or political preference."
